American Made Grills FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

American Made Grills (AMG) builds premium outdoor grills with heavy stainless steel construction, versatile cooking capability, and a lifetime warranty on major stainless components. You get long‑term durability and high performance, not a disposable grill.

AMG offers two styles:

  • Hybrid Series (Muscle & Encore) – Multi‑fuel grills that let you cook with gas plus real charcoal, wood chunks, lump charcoal, or pellets.

  • Gas Series (Estate & Atlas) – Luxury, high‑output traditional gas grills (built‑in or freestanding carts) focused on straightforward power and refinement.

You can light the grill quickly on gas for fast preheat, then add charcoal, wood, lump, or pellets for live‑fire flavor—without buying a separate smoker or kamado. Switch back to pure gas anytime for weeknight simplicity.

Use the gas burners to ignite your charcoal or wood in the fuel trays. Once it’s glowing, you can turn gas down or off for pure live‑fire cooking, or leave a low burner on to stabilize temperature.

  • Pick Hybrid if you want both gas convenience and authentic charcoal/wood flavor in one unit.

  • Pick Estate if you want an ultra‑polished, fully featured luxury gas grill with classic operation.

  • Pick Atlas if you want a premium gas grill experience with a slightly leaner, value‑oriented configuration.

American Made Grills promotes a lifetime (non‑prorated) warranty on major stainless steel components. Ignition, electronics, and wear parts carry defined limited terms. Keep your proof of purchase and register the grill online to speed service.

Yes. Build a small charcoal/wood bed off to one side, control airflow with the hood partially vented as recommended, and keep one gas burner on very low if you want to stabilize temperature during longer cooks (like ribs or pork shoulder).

Just a short one. A few cooks teach you how much solid fuel you actually need (most new users overfill at first). Start smaller—add more once you see how quickly the grill retains heat.
